New Skylanders Game Hinted in Activision, Frito-Lay, $100,000 Dollar Contest 2014

New Skylanders Game Reveal Potential Characters

February 25th 2014, by Maya Mayfield

We have a super exciting announcement today for those with a flair for character creations and story telling. Activision has joint forces with Frito-Lay to present a contest that offers an exclusive look at 3 new characters that potentially could be in the next Skylanders video game set for launch later this year. The competition gives you the choice to select between 3 characters pictured below. A magical Bat Witch, a Dragon insect, and a pirate Dolphin. You must then give the character a name and create a backstory for your chosen character.

Judges from Activision and Frito-lay will then go over all submissions selecting one single entry for each character to be voted on this coming May. The winning character will then be added to the yet to be revealed Skylanders video game with a $100,000 dollar scholarship awarded to the winner.

Those interested in getting involved in this incredible contest can sign up right here at the official website.

Activision are keeping a tight seal on the latest Skylander 2014 game, despite CEO Eric Hershberg announcing Spyro's Adventure and Skylanders Giants creator Toys for Bob will be working on this year's installment. Last years's Skylander game title, Skylanders Swap Force was created by Vicarious Visions, generating over 1 billion in worldwide sales after Activision revealed its financial disclosure during their fiscal year.

If you think you are the next J.K. Rowling or C.S lewis just waiting to be discovered now is your chance to get creative writing. There is a $100,000 dollar scholarship up for grabs, register and let your passion for writing through.
